Review: See Me by Wendy Higgins

Hello one and all

How are you this fine evening? Well, as you can tell...I actually have a book review for you all! Yay on my keeping up with this blog...kind of! This is my first Wendy Higgins book and I kind of feel bad, because, I have not read her Sweet Evil trilogy and she follows me on twitter!

But, enough of that on to the book review!

So, this story is about, an American girl name Robyn, who has a prearranged marriage since she was a baby. The reason for this is to keep the race of the Leprechauns alive. That's right leprechauns. Now, herself and her family are on their way to Ireland, to meet her mysterious fiance McKale, that she has known about since she was seven. The only thing is Robyn doesn't know that she is to be married to a leprechaun. So, you can only imagine how she takes it. But, when she see McKale, she is thrilled. But, when a fae name Khalistah gets in the way, things are hard for Robyn and McKale. The faeries are anything, but nice!

This story was cute, funny, and charming. I love this story so much and I enjoyed every bit of the characters (except for the fairies they were mean.) My favorite character is Robyn's little sister Cassidy, she is just funny,spunky, and laid back. She reminds me of some teenage girls I know! Now, I don't want to ignore the characters who are the supporting roles.

They all too make the story for their uniqueness, and it's cool. Wendy was given the challenge to write about a sexy leprechaun, she took it, and bam! Out came McKale! I highly recommend this book and I give this five stars for the awesome that it is!

Wow need to get on here more!

Well, ok some excuses, but I will save the details. The reason I started this blog was to write about books and well, I'm not doing a great job at all! I have other blogs that I'm always on, but never this one. I am also, trying to get back to doing youtube again, but, I have been slightly lazy and not knowing what to talk about, but no more! I must change and get back on track. 

I guess that I have been a little discourage at everything, because I'm not up to date on the latest books and I don't have the access to any of them hardly. I get lucky every once in awhile to get a book that has been out for awhile. But, that really shouldn't stop me from doing reviews and videos. I do let it get to me, because of all these amazing people, who have been at this longer and do have the luck and jobs to get books. Rather they get it from the companies themselves or buy them. 

I know I'm still new at the game, but books are my passion and I want to be able to work with books. How? I don't know, but all I know is, that I love being able to write and share; also, to read these amazing stories. It may take me longer, but I know that one day, I will get a chance.

HELLLLOOOOOOO!!!

Hey hey everyone

How's it going? Well, I'm just on here doing an update. Tell you what's going on with this crazy reader. I have recently took a trip to Texas with the fam. Never doing that again. I was planning to bring six books with me to read, ended up bring three and ended up only reading one book!

I'm still reading that one book. Which is The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien duh! We all should know who wrote these epic books. Although I have not read The Lord of the Ring Trilogy! Either way at least I am reading one epic book by Tolkien. So far the book is amazing and I quite enjoy the adventure of it all. Even though the chapters are long, but it's still worth reading and I'm happy to be reading it.

Okay well I have nothing else to report and frankly I don't know what else to write about. Well, I hope you all have an amazing day and epic night where ever you are and when you read this!

Wicked is finished

Hello hello!!!

So, as you can tell by my title, I have finally finished Wicked by Gregory Maguire. It was a pretty interesting read. I was slightly scared at the beginning, but it got better as I read. I found myself relating to Elphaba in some weird way and that's ok by me. 

I liked how it was set up and how it flowed easily at least for me. I had a mental "hit" list of people that really needed to punch and kicked! Glinda wasn't what I expected, I thought she was rude at the beginning, but she got better as she got older (some what). 

I feel like this book is the coolest book I've read. Although at the end Elphaba needed to take a chill pill with her crazy suspicions. Poor Dorthy probably needed to seek some help. 

Either way I gave this a five out of five. I would highly recommend reading this crazy world of OZ! 

Update After A Really Long Time!

Ok so it has been awhile since I last wrote on here! Updates! I'm currently reading Wicked and so far it is quite amazing and weird. It's hard to imagine liking a character that you hated as a child, because she was mean to Dorthy, but she's a very likable character in this book. 

Yeah Elphaba is by far my favorite character, I could see bits of myself in her. I'm not quite finished with it and so far a lot of thoughts and feelings went through my mind. But, I'm not going to give those away now. It's hard to believe that this book has been around for 19 years and I'm now just starting to read it. Yeah, I feel somewhat old...even though I'm 28...sad I know! 

I hope not to stray to far from this pack, because I promised myself to get things going on this blog and I have to do it.

Reviews

Okay, I'm going to start posting a mixture of old and new reviews on here. I'm don't have all the latest books, because well...I'm jobless and have no money for new books. So, what you see is what I have, but don't worry. I usually go through great lengths to get some new books. Like, the third installment of Gena Showalter's book of The White Rabbit Chronicles. I do have a mixture of new and old books, but I want to reach the people who have not read any of the old books. They are still just as cool and exciting as the newer books. 

I don't want to be boring and lose you and have you question my sanity...hehe ummm moving on. I've tried youtube and well I'm not the greatest at expressing myself on there then I am at writing. I don't know where I'm going with this...but I promise to try to make all my reviews as lively as ever!

So, I hope I get at least one person interested on here or if anything go to my booklikes. I've been on there longer. I'll leave the link, but I want to also start writing on here as much as possible. Okay, I think I've bored you all long enough have a great and awesome rest of the year...k bye!!! hehe
